I am currently a NIH F99/K00 DSPAN Fellow and postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UCSF working with Dr. Eddie Chang and Dr. Andrew Krystal.
I’ve trained for 10+ years as a biomedical engineer - I completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Brown University with Dr. David Borton and Dr. Sameer Sheth at Baylor College of Medicine. I’m interested in building a better understanding of behavioral and neurophysiological network states in psychiatric and mood disorders using combinatorial approaches with intracranial recordings and multi-modal behavioral measurements.
Investing in mentorship and recruitment of trainees from underrepresented backgrounds has been a focus for me throughout my academic career, and it continues to be a priority.
